Privacy notice

GetPlaceID helps you find a Google Place ID and make links, QR codes and printable cards. This page explains the information used to run those features.

Accounts and allowances

Guests receive a signed cookie. The service uses keyed hashes of network and visitor identifiers to enforce the one-business guest allowance. If you create an account, it stores your email address, a password hash, verification or reset-code records, and selected businesses and daily usage. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Verification and password-reset emails are sent through Resend. Account sessions expire after seven days; email codes expire after ten minutes.

Searches and card designs

Business-name searches and Place ID selections are sent to the GetPlaceID server, which requests listing information from Google Places. Selected listing details are cached with allowance records. Card design choices and selected artwork are handled in your browser for preview and export. Google Maps or review links open Google services when you choose them.

Messages and site analytics

If you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are used to respond to your inquiry. Cloudflare handles site traffic and provides Web Analytics for site performance and use. The site does not use analytics data to decide who can leave a review.

Advertising

GetPlaceID uses Google AdSense to request advertising. Ads are subject to Google’s site approval and availability. When ads are served, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can manage how Google personalizes ads at My Ad Center and learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services in Google's privacy information. Where required, Google’s consent message asks for your choices before advertising cookies are used. When the consent controls are available, use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer to change your choice. Ads are separate from the card artwork and are not included in exports.

Your choices and contact

You can use the first business without an account, sign out of an account, or avoid submitting the contact form. For questions about your information or a deletion request, contact aguirrevictor198@gmail.com. Include the account email address so we can identify the request. We may need to keep limited records required to operate the service or comply with applicable obligations.
